Since I got my motorcycle license I only wear motorbike leathers when driving. I know that many people don’t wear protective clothing. I don’t know people who drive in T-shirts, jeans or even without a helmet through the streets.

Always keep in intellect: You can be the best driver or you can feel as whether you were are the best rider on soil but in most cases inattentive car drivers cause the main part of all motorcycle accidents.

Excessive speed is one thing … but its pure folly to ride without leathers on your motorbike !

As I said: In most cases It happens quicker than you reckon, and when it happens it happens without your intervention, perhaps even without your fault, but whether something happens, it happens so suddenly that you are somewhat better prepared! Driving courses certainly make their share and all of us hope to be able to act intuitively right in risky situations, but motorbike leathers or other protective clothing should not be left out !

Brittany Morrow describes us very impressive what can happen through a silly accident. Wearing sweatshirt and jeans she fell down from her boyfriend’s motorcycle at very high tempo. Her heavy scars will always remind her of this stupidity.

On SpeedFreakInc she tells us how it came to the accident and how painful and how long her way to recovery was.

What can we lern approximately this ? ALWAYS, even whether you intend only to drive a few miles to work, wear motorbike leathers !
